Information on Rancho Las Brisas
Rancho Las Brisas is a smaller age-restricted community of 180 homes. It is also known as El Paseo Las Vegas. The signage outside the property is for “El Paseo Swim and Racquet Club” but residents and real estate agents tend to refer to the development as Rancho Las Brisas. Rancho Las Brisas is in fact a subdivision of 828 homes which extends West beyond the age restricted area. Whatever you want to call it, this 55+, gated community is very well located in the South West, just opposite Spanish Trail. A 10 minute drive along Tropicana will get you to the Strip.

The most similar development is Lakeside Village, a small community of 90 homes located just off Charleston and Buffalo. If you like Rancho Las Brisas it is definitely worth taking a look at Lakeside Village. They both share the attributes of being intimate, quaint, well-located and well-maintained, and make an interesting alternative to the larger scale Del Webb Sun City style of retirement communities.

If I have one criticism of the development it is that there is too much uniformity amongst the homes. The newer age-restricted communities, such as Ardiente, have multiple elevations to choose from on each model. The uniformity of the homes is somewhat offset by mature trees in the yards, which have grown to create a far more attractive street than the typical desert landscaping that you see in Las Vegas. Rancho Las Brisas community features are a gated entrance, clubhouse, pool and tennis courts.

There are just 180 homes, the majority of which are single story. All homes are detached and have two car garages. Homes with two stories have master bedrooms on the first level. Floor plans range from 1188 sq ft to 1768 sq ft and were built in the early 1990s

If you are looking for information on the broader Rancho Las Brisas area with no age restrictions, then click here, and you will find properties with two and three car garages, ranging from 1,159 to 3,506 square feet. The three bedroom, two bath is the most popular model type, but there are also larger four and five bedroom homes. Lot sizes range from 4,377 to 24,000 square feet. The homes were built between 1990 and 1999.
