Just off Buffalo and Windmill in zip code 89113, Nevada Trails is a South West Las Vegas community of just over 1400 homes that was built by Pardee Homes. Pardee is a home builder with a deserved reputation for quality, and the development has some notable features, including a playground, walking paths, and streets lined with palm trees.

There are a number of different models and home sizes range from 1,418 square feet, through to 5,542 square feet. The Nevada Trails homes for sale are spread across different subdivisions (Ashwood, Acacia and Mesquite), some parts of which are gated.
The development’s convenient location, right next to the 215’s Rainbow ramp, makes it popular with people working at the Southern end of the strip and at the nearby hospitals and medical facilities. Nevada Trails also attracts young families, with the Judith D. Steele Elementary School very close by at 6995 West Eldorado Lane.

Built in 2004 Nevada Trails homes won plaudits for their environmentally friendly approach, and the Southern Nevada Water Authority awarded it the Water Efficient Landscaping Award in 2005. One of the advantages of newer developments is that they use more energy efficient construction methods. Nevada Trails has Energy Star homes that are said to save 30% more energy than a standard home. ConSol, a company that provides energy solutions for builders, awarded the properties its Comfortwise designation. Some of the features that make the properties more energy efficient are windows that block out three quarters of natural light, and AC systems that have no-leak ductwork.
